LONDON -- For the world's first baby born to a woman with a transplanted womb -- a medical first -- only a victorious name would do.
Which is why his parents named him "Vincent," meaning "to conquer," according to his mother.
The 36-year-old Swedish mother learned she had no womb when she was 15 and was devastated, she said Saturday in an interview with The Associated Press.

This reminds me when I was in ICU with Andrew. There was this Malaysia who who had migrated to New Zealand. In Malaysia, she didn't conceive for a long time, and examination showed she had no womb.

It was a surprise to her when she conceived. She had to stay in hospital for her entire pregnancy and they had to take the baby out as soon as it was viable, about 6 months.

I wonder how they are doing now, and if the baby survived at all.
